Sweet Lights with the Hershey Aerials . . .

Zoey, Canyon, Everest & Kaiden

Last week Kiersen's gymnastics team went to Sweet Lights.  A few of the other gym moms and siblings hung out with us at Chocolate World until their tour was over.

Kaiden Turns 12!

Oh boy are we in trouble if she's driving!

One of the many tad poles Kaiden caught

Kaiden taking selfies of him and (almost all of) his 'crew'.  Zoey was fast asleep!

Getting ready to eat his 'ultimate feast' at Red Lobster

Yesterday Kaiden turned 12, and he wanted to go to his favorite place to celebrate the day with friends.  So we loaded up his friend, Logan, and Kiersen's friend, Zoey, and we headed to Hickory Run State Park to swim at the lake beach.  It was so very hot which made it the perfect day to be in the water.  Kaiden of course enjoyed catching catfish, minnows and tad poles the best.  We finished up the night with pizza and oreo cookie ice cream cake.  Tonight we went to Red Lobster for his actual birthday dinner, since last night we were all too tired after a long day in the sun.  Happy Birthday Kaiden Tyler.  I love you more than words could ever say!

'Selfies' . . .

At practice this week Kiersen grabbed my phone and said 'lets take selfies'.  These girls are something else - they know more about working a phone than I do.  The selfies didn't work out so well for them, but I was able to get photos.  Kiersen's best friend, Bre, is on her squad this year and she couldn't be more excited.  She's sad that her best cheer friend, Zoey, was moved up to the Pee Wee squad this year though.  It's going to be an adventurous year!

Cheer Camp . . .

This week Kiersen attended a cheer camp at her gymnastics school.  She took her cheer friend, Zoey.  They both had a lot of fun.  Kiersen was happy that she got some nice tumbling time.  Her teacher told me today that she's very close to getting her standing back handspring by herself, so she was excited.
