Coloring Easter Eggs . . .

Since it was so rainy today, it was the perfect day to dye our Easter eggs.  Kaiden always likes to color his bright, and Kiersen always likes the pastel colors.  Every year she gets angry because Kaiden takes so long to dye his eggs.  It's funny how different my kids are in so many ways!

Cast Giants on Strap Bar (Video) . . .

Kiersen has been getting more and more confident with her giants on the strap bar, and is now casting into them.

Back Handspring, Back Handspring on Beam (New Skill) (Video) . . .

Last week Kiersen did a double back handspring on beam for the first time!

Back Walkover Back Tuck Dismount (New Skill) (Video) . . .

Last night at practice Kiersen did a new dismount for the first time - back walkover back tuck!

Hanover Classic - Floor Routine (Video) . . .

Kiersen got her highest level 6 score last week at the Hanover Classic, with a 9.650!  It's hard to believe, but even with that high of a score she only took 9th place!  Super proud of how far she's come this year!

Hanover Classic - Bars (Video) . . .

Kiersen's hardest even this year is the bars, but each competition her scores seem to improve, and this week she got an 8.800 and took 9th place.  I am super proud of her for going for her handstand!

Hanover Classic - Vault (Videos) . . .

Kiersen's Vaults from the Hanover Classic held last weekend.  She scored an 8.950 (her highest score of the year) and get 8th Place.

Hanover Classic - Beam Routine (Video) . . .

Urban Playground - The Warped Wall (Videos) . . .

For Kiersen's Birthday we went to Urban Playground (a ninja warrior style course) with her cousins Holly and Rowan (and of course Uncle Steve).  Here are the videos of Kade and Kiersen beating the warped wall!

Kiersen Turns 10!

It's hard to believe that Kiersen turned 10 last week!  Every year goes faster than the next.  She had quite a birthday!  She gave cotton candy to her friends at the gym, she had an RJ ice cream cake, went to Urban Playground with Kaiden, Steve, Holly and Rowan, had crab legs for dinner and got lots of fun birthday gifts!  Happy Birthday Kiersen Livi!

Birthday Flowers . . .

I was surprised with these beautiful spring flowers from my college roommate, Kim, for my birthday this year.  I love them.

Green for St. Patty's Day . . .

Kiersen loves makeup, so I wasn't surprised when she wanted to do green eyeshadow and some other fun designs for St. Patty's Day.

Fishing in Pine Grove . . .

It's soon fishing season and the kids (especially Kaiden) can't wait!  Although they didn't catch much on this short trip we took, they had fun just spending time together at the fishing hole.

Competition Ready!

Just a few photos of Kiersen (our 'little ham') after we sprayed in her hair glitter before this weekend's competition . . . .

Fishing & Nature . . .

Even though it's still a little too early for fishing season to kick off, the warm weather yesterday had Kaiden and I anxious for a trip to Milton Hershey for catfish. It was also the perfect time for me to break out the camera and practice a few of the things I learned from my photography course.  As it turned out, the lights on the bridge did not go one like they typically would have, so we ended up with a very, very short trip, but it was still fun to hang out with my boy for a while.  I love his excitement and passion for fishing.

Snow, Snow and More Snow . . .

Kaiden acting unruly like his daddy!  Ha ha.
At least I didn't have to worry about the penguin not smiling!

This winter we had lots and lots of snow!  At this point, I think it will probably still be laying on the ground in July!  I love it though (other than the icy mess in the driveway).  Winter is my second favorite season of the year!
