Pheasant Hunting with Daddy...

Yesterday Kenny took Kaiden pheasant hunting. He was so excited! When he got back he told me he didn't shoot a deer or a pheasant, but he saw some corn!

Carree & Nikka Visit Kaiden...

Yesterday Kaiden's cousin's Carree & Nikka stopped by. We made caramel apples, had a candy scavenger hunt, made ginger ornaments, watched Christmas (yes, Christmas) movies, went to two playgrouds and ate pizza. Kaiden enjoyed himself, but was very exhausted when it was time to go to bed.

Mr. Tidy Himself...

Kaiden is 'Mr. Tidy' lately. One of his favorite things to clean is our little antique stove....I think he could spend hours cleaning it. Last night we got back from trick-or-treating around 10:00, and he insisted that his grunt call and gun be put back into his closet right away. He told me 'mommy....things need to be tidy'....HE'S LEARNING!!!

Last night we took Kaiden trick-or-treating. This year he decided he wanted to be a 'little hunter boy'. How fitting! What is it that they say....'like father like son'!

Kaiden decided to draw me a picture in the bathtub last night....lucky for me he used bathtub markers and not a sharpie!

Halloween Bags...

Every year Kenny and I put together a Halloween bag for 'our boys'. We always give it to them before Halloween though. This year we knew Kaiden would particularly like his bag, because there was a motorcycle in it, and he loves motorcycles right now. I think motorcycles are the first thing he talks about when he wakes up, and the last thing he talks about before going to bed. Bet you can guess what's on his list for Santa this year....

Baby's First Ultrasound...

Yesterday the baby and I had our 16 week checkup at the doctor. Because I was having some problems, they decided to do an ultrasound. It was neat to see the baby moving...it's kind of amazing how much they can see with these ultrasounds, even though the pictures look blurry to me.

A Shower for Baby Kyran...

Today Kaiden and I attended a baby shower for our friends Jeff & Fawn who are expecting a little boy, Kyran Cole, on November 19th. Kaiden wasn't really all that interested in the gifts being opened or the food being served; all he wanted to do was play blocks with this little guy. We can't wait to meet baby Kyran in November.
