A Toothless Bat!

Ava....er, um....Thor!

Cathy and her bus were even dressed up today!

Today was dress up day at school for Kaiden, and he and Ava were so excited this morning at the bus stop.  This afternoon they have a parade around the stadium.  Kiersen can't wait to go!  Oh, and if you didn't notice it, Kaiden lost his front tooth this morning - he looks so mischievous now.  The second front tooth is also lose, so once he loses that we'll be singing 'All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth'.

Pumpkin Carving...

Last night the kids finally got to carve their pumpkins with daddy.  They were so excited.  RJ even did pretty good and only ate a few pieces of pumpkin.

Halloween Day at Dawn to Dusk...

Today Kiersen's Preschool is having a Halloween Day, and she's super excited.  They got to dress up, they'll be having a party, and (her favorite) they are going to the Senior Center to play games with the residents.

Rocks, Pumpkins, Leaves...

I love this photo....they didn't know I was taking it and it's almost as if they are sitting up there chatting about life.

The kids know I love the red leaves, so they've been finding them for me.  Kiersen even decided to bring some indoors the other day, and I found them at the bathroom sink by the soap dispenser.

Looks like she's going to sit on his head, but I wanted to be there to make sure she was 'safe'

Rearranging the pumpkins in the wagon.
Nothing beats fall....I love getting outdoors with the kids.  There's so much to do and I never hear 'mommy, it's too hot, lets go swimming' or 'mommy, these bugs are bothering me, lets go inside'. Yesterday they were climbing their big rock again (they love that thing), picking red leaves for me and rearranging the pumpkins in the wagon.

RJ Turns One!

And here he was yesterday with his giant birthday rawhide.  Glad I got some photos - it's gone!  Can't believe he's been here a year.  Happy Birthday, RJ Bear!

With Kaiden it's ALWAYS a Science Experiment!

If you're squinting really hard to see what's in the bottle, let me save you some time....stink bugs and lady bugs.  Kaiden's newest thing is collect them for 'science experiments'.  On any given day I find bottles of these bugs outside the door, situated somewhere where the sun can beat directly on them, in the freezer and this week I found them in my fridge!  (Yummy....anyone want to come to my house for dinner tonight...stink bugs are on the menu)  He gets so excited to tell me about how long it took them to freeze, if they 'got drowned' or if they battled each other until they died.  Now he's on to 'developing' an attractant so he can patent a stink bug kill cage.  Whatever he does, I just hope it no longer involves my fridge or freezer!

Halloween Goodies...

RJ's new dragon WAS cute....by the next morning the squeaker was out, the stuffing was removed and the dragon was torn.  Poor dragon!

RJ with his new dragon and swollen, bee stung eye.

Trying her best to give me a smile.

Ken & I always give the kids their Halloween goodies the weekend of the Pine Grove Halloween Parade.  This year (as I'm sure you can tell by the pictures), Kiersen was a bit under the weather.

Autumn's in the Air!

So what do you do when you have a to-do list a mile long?  Stop everything and go outside to take a few pictures of the fall colors of course!  Happy Fall Y'All!
