Horseback Riding . . .

 

Back in May Kiersen and I got to ride horses for the very first time at her friend's birthday party.  It was something I've always wanted to do, and something that Kiersen fell in love with immediately.  I think her smile says it all.  I have a feeling this is not going to be the last horse riding she does!

Gold Over America Tour . . .

 Kiersen has always dreamed of meeting Simone Biles.  Imagine her surprise when her gymnastics team took a bus trip to see the Gold Over America Tour on November 5th.  She was SO excited.  Although she didn't get to meet Simone in person, she was thrilled at getting to see her and many of her other favorites up close!  She took so many videos on my phone from that night, but my favorite wasn't a video at all - it was the last picture on this post.  I will forever remember this special trip I got to take with my 'little Simone' (as her grandma calls her).  

Corn Maze + Two Gymnasts = Let's Tumble!

In October my friend Steph and I took our girls to a corn maze in Lebanon.  The girls didn't enjoy the maze as much as we had thought and only wanted to take us through 'unbeatten paths'.  They had more fun tumbling around together. Both gymnasts - go figure!  What did we think was going to happen!??!?!

Color Me Mine with Layla . . .

In August Kiersen went to Color Me Mine with her friend, Layla.  She painted an elephant bank to match her new room.
