PGTC Class Olympics - Beam Routine
Kiersen was a little nervous yesterday for the beam because she added in three new elements that are for the next level. She ended up doing great though!
PGTC Class Olympics - Bar Routine
Her is Kiersen on her favorite and best event - the bars. The coach gave her and the other girls the option to add in one of the Level 2 elements - a mill circle. She's been struggling with this skill for a while. Sometimes she does it perfectly, other times not so perfectly. Going in to the competition yesterday she wasn't sure if she was going to go for it or not. I was proud of her when she chose to do it. It wasn't the best, but at least she went for it. Unfortunately, she didn't chalk up before the routine and her hand ended up slipping off the bar for the dismount. It scared her, I think, but she learned a valuable lesson for next time - remember the chalk!
PGTC Class Olympics - Floor Routine
Yesterday Kiersen had her class Olympics. They didn't do awards individually like typical meets, but did an all-around award, and Kiersen won first place.

The Super Bowl Games . . .
Today was Kiersen's second gymnastics meet - the 'Super Bowl Games in Quakertown, PA'. She did very well and placed first on bar, beam and floor; fourth on vault and took first place for all-around. She was so excited (but I think her daddy was even more excited!) Videos to follow in the next post.
