We just can't get enough of Hickory Run State Park, so we decided to go there again yesterday with Alyssa. We weren't certain about the weather, but it turned out to be a nice day - not too hot and the beach was pretty empty. The kids wanted a floaty, so we bought a (as Kiersen calls it) 'Sally-Gator'. The kids spent hours catching fish with their nets and riding on Sally. Alyssa's soon heading back to New York, so I'm glad we got to spend some time with her before she goes.
