Swopes Valley Bike Ride & Water Play . . .

I rememeber this trip like it just happened.  It was an unusually cold June morning, and the kids and I decided to take a bike ride at Swopes Valley.  I know there's water there, and I should've known the kids wouldn't care how cold it was and still want to go in.  Well. . . that's exactly what happened!  They ended up in the water, and man was that water cold!

Hickory Run . . .

In June we took a trip to Hickory Run State Park.  This is one of our absolute favorite places to visit.  It was a cooler day and we arrived early, so not many people were there with us.  I wish I would've taken my camera on this trip, but I didn't, so my pictures aren't the greatest.  I could honestly spend an entire week at this place - catching minnows, catfish and tadpoles, swimming and exploring.

Fishing with the Twins . . .

In June we went fishing with the twins (and Matt & Zach too).  It's funny how each boy has their own personality.  Ethan was a little fisherman and really enjoyed fishing right by his cousin, Kaiden.  Noah on the other hand - not so much.  Most of the trip he had no desire to fish, and forget about touching a fish!  He only took an interest in the last hour!  It was a hot morning, but it was so fun spending time with them.

Biggest Catch of the Summer . . .

These photos were taken in May.  This was his biggest catch of the summer (and his biggest bass EVER).  I will never forget this day.  I've seen Kade happy about fish before, but never as happy as he was when he reeled this guy in.

Cross Bow Practice . . .

These photos were taken in May.  I love watching him shoot his crossbow.  He's really pretty good at it too.  These were shot at 50 yards.
