So this summer has been busier than any summer I can ever remember. With Kiersen on the gymnastics team I feel like I live my life on the road most of the days. The days I'm not traveling to gymnastics, I'm trying to get caught up with HuckleBee orders, keep the house clean and do fun things with the kids. A few weeks ago, Kenny went from being a foreman to a general foreman. It's something he always told me he wanted to do, and I was super proud of him. Unfortunately because we've been so busy, I didn't get a chance to do anything special for him until just last week. My idea was to simply do a nice meal for him, but the kids wanted to do a party, so we made him a lasagna, baked him a banana cake (his favorite), blew up balloons and even came up with a few fun games to play. They had a blast decorating the cake, and they had fun playing our version of pin the tail on the donkey (pin the hard hat on the general foreman). Congratulations Kenny! We're all proud of you and all your accomplishments!
