Wild Animal Show at Pine Grove Elementary...

Last night we went to the 'Wild Animal Show' at Kaiden's school.  The kangaroo was the cutest!

Best Buddies!

Sometimes they seem to fight all the time, and other times, not so much.  On this particular day, they were best buddies.  Notice too, that they're in their Christmas PJ's....they just couldn't wait to wear them....guess they are a little like their momma!!!

Happy Birthday Kenny!

Today was Kenny's birthday!  Kiersen and I spent the day prepping everything....lasagna made (check), 'fresh from the oven' rolls made (check), gifts wrapped (check), cards ready (check), cake bought (check).  Everything was perfect.  Well...that was until daddy came home sick!  Maybe we'll try again tomorrow!

Remmy's Memory Stone...

Yesterday we got Remmy's memory stone....13 years in our lives, forever in our hearts.

With You Always, Remmy...

Kaiden cried and cried (as you can see from this picture) when he saw his new friend.  He really misses Remmy.

After Remmy passed away, the kids began sleeping with his photo album.  Kenny and I thought it would be nice to surprise them with Remmy stuffed animals, and found a place that personalized scarves for them.  Although it took a while for them to arrive, it was worth the wait.  Needless to say these dogs have been 'attached to their hips' ever since.

Make a Wish Remmy...

Someone has really been missing Remmy.  I think she just realized this week that he's really not coming back.  Yesterday after Kaiden got on the bus she saw a 'wisher' (aka dandelion with white fuzzies) and she told me to make a wish.  She spotted a second one and she said 'I wish for Remmy to come back because I miss him'.  As if that didn't break my heart enough, she proceeded to pick all the other 'wishers' she could find, and when I told her we couldn't take them inside because they were too messy, she replied 'no Mommy, I don't want to take them inside...I picked them for Remmy so he could make a wish to come back to me too'.  We walked over to his grave, and she gave him his wishers.  If only those wishers would really work :(

Dragon-Ballerina-Winter Elf!

Lately Kiersen loves playing dress up....yesterday she decided it would be fun to be a dragon-ballerina-winter elf.  Of course she insisted that I take pictures!

Remmy Bear (04.10.2001 - 09.01.2014)

He was our first 'baby' boy....he was a best friend, a brother and a loyal companion....he was our Remmy and we miss him already.  Today we planted an apple tree by his grave and will be placing a marker there so he'll always be part of our home.  Rest in peace sweet boy.
