First Snow Day 2022 . . .

Yesterday the kids had their first snow day for the year.  It seemed to come out of nowhere, but they were excited to be off of school, especially because it was a Friday.  RJ was happy they were home too, because that meant he also got to play in the snow!  I didn't last outside very long because it was really cold, but it didn't seem to bother these three!

Another Snow Day!

The kids had some more days off of school this week for snow.  We've officially lost our entire spring break, but we made the most of our day off and headed outside for some winter fun!

COLD Snow Day . . . .

Wow it was cold and icy yesterday!  The kids had a day off school and they begged me to go outside all day long.  I told them it had to at least get to 10 degrees.  Finally at around 1:30 we hit the 10 degree mark, so I let them go out two times for 10-15 minutes each.  The first time we went outside the kids insisted that RJ needed a sweater .... as you can imagine, that was fun to put on him!  

Snow Day!

Last week it snowed and the kids had a day off of school.  They spent most of their day outside playing.  They'd come in for a few minutes and then already be talking about going back outside.  RJ didn't want any parts of playing this time because he got a new bone.  Now the snow is all melted and we're anxious for some more.  Maybe this year we'll have a white Christmas . . .
