Fishing at MHS . . .

On Monday Kade and I went fishing at MHS while Kiersen was doing gymnastics.  It was gloomy and rained on us a few times, but that didn't stop Kade!  This boy loves to fish more than anyone I know!  And check out my little buddy in the last picture.  He's so cute!

Fishing at MHS . . .

This week we had such beautiful weather, so Kade and I took advantage of it and went fishing while Kiersen was at gymnastics.  Everything is starting to pop in Hershey.  I love the pinks and greens and all the birds and geese I got to see.  Kade - well, all he cared about was the greens in the fish he caught (ha ha).  Fun night!

Fishing & Nature . . .

Even though it's still a little too early for fishing season to kick off, the warm weather yesterday had Kaiden and I anxious for a trip to Milton Hershey for catfish. It was also the perfect time for me to break out the camera and practice a few of the things I learned from my photography course.  As it turned out, the lights on the bridge did not go one like they typically would have, so we ended up with a very, very short trip, but it was still fun to hang out with my boy for a while.  I love his excitement and passion for fishing.

Catfish Fishing with Kade . . .

Once a week Kaiden goes with me to Hershey and we go cat fish fishing while Kiersen is at gymnastics.  We love it there so much.  It's peaceful and we get to see a ton of neat things - like deer, muskrats (my little buddy in one of the pictures above), beavers. giant snapping turtles, ducks, geese, cranes, bass, sun fish and catfish, plus the views of nature aren't too shabby either.  At night the lights shine on our bridge and then the cat fish come out biting.  Last week he hooked on to one so big it almost snapped his rod in half.  Unfortunately it broke his line and got away, but it was still pretty exciting!  One of the neatest things about MHS is their building called Founders Hall (see last photo), which lights up at night.  I will be sad when it's too cold to go and hang out with my buddy on the bridge!
