Gymnastics 2023 - Level 7 . . .

 

This picture may seem out of place, but this little hamburger traveled with her to every meet this year.  Her good luck charm which she named 'Hammy GB'

Kiersen started at a new gym in June.  She now attends ASAP Gymnastics.  It's been a very rough year for her.   She had a great summer and learned a bunch of new skills, but in October she developed a mental block which has been very frustrating.  She lost a lot of the skills she's had since she was 5/6 years old and her self confidence suffered for most of the year.  There have been lots of tears (from both her and from me) this year, but there have also been a lot of smiles.  She's made a ton of new friends who have been amazing teammates, and she's even met a boy (here 'gym crush') who has been so supportive of her.  We're not sure what next year will bring - most likely a new sport - but we're excited to see what the future holds.    

Chickens!

 This girls certainly loves her chickens.  Occasionly (when Kenny isn't home) we sneak the chickens into the house to get baths and snuggles!

Kiersen Photoshoot . . .

Well, I can't seem to get Kade to do photoshoots with me (unless he's fishing or hunting), but at least Kiersen lets me play with photography every now and again.  Here are a few of the photos I took during a recent shoot.  

Cotton Candy . . .

Kiersen used some of her Christmas money to buy a cotton candy machine.  This girl certainly loves her candy!  This is probably one of the best purchases she's ever made.  She's made SO much cotton candy with this thing!
