Introducing RJ Bear...

His favorite thing to do....run after the kids

Losing Remmy after 13 years was one of the hardest things we've had to go through.  We think about him every day, and the kids still cry themselves to sleep some nights (and so does their momma).  So many days I've felt that a noise I hear downstairs was him, but I quickly realize it wasn't...he's gone. Although we could never ever replace our sweet Remmy, we decided that the kids are at a great age to experience the joys of a new puppy, so we set out searching for that perfect Christmas puppy. Well...as it turns out, that perfect puppy turned out to be a Halloween puppy instead.  So our new little boy begins his life with us as he should...wearing a Christmas collar and sleigh bell at Halloween time...he'll fit right in with the Christmas tree we'll be setting up this weekend!  Welcome RJ Bear.  We're looking forward to making many special memories with you!

Leaf Jumpin'

I know there are still a lot of leaves left to fall, but it was such a nice evening I couldn't resist taking the kids out to jump in the leaves!

Halloween Parade 2014

The Pine Grove Halloween Parade was on Saturday.  Kaiden and Kenny were in it this year for football, so it was just Kiersen and I, along with my niece Nikka.  Unfortunately, not a lot of my photos from the parade turned out.  Nikka did capture a few of them opening up their Halloween goodie bags though!

Fall Fun at Pioneer Evergreen Farm

Since Monday was Columbus Day, Kaiden was off of school so I decided to take the kids to the Pioneer Evergreen Farm Fall Event in Orwigsburg.  We had such a nice time, despite the rainy weather.  There were so many things for the kids to do, and the food wasn't overpriced, making it a really nice day.  This is certainly going to become a yearly trip for us!
