(Almost) Over the Waterfall!!!

Friday was so nice, so we decided to head to our favorite place....Sweet Arrow Lake, of course!  This time Kaiden wanted to take his RC truck with.  Before leaving I warned him that he would have to be careful when he was playing with it because there are a lot of areas that he could 'get in trouble' with it.  Well.....things were going well until the end of our time there when he nearly drove it off the cliff into the waterfall!  Just another inch more and his truck would've gone for a swim!  When I 

'rescued' it it was only hanging on by the back tires!  Yikes!  Next time we won't be bringing it to Sweet Arrow!  I think Kiersen had the right idea by bringing her baby instead!

Oh (Rein)DEER....

 

So we set out the Santa Coke, chocolate/peppermint covered marshmallows and reindeer food....BUT....when we went to set out the kids' reindeer I got a reaction I wasn't quite prepared for. The kids were so upset because their reindeer were leaving tonight with Santa.  Kiersen sobbed so hard she was choking and told me she'd give up her gift from Santa if she could just keep her reindeer.  Oh boy...some times my 'ideas' aren't so bright!

Klide's Back & He Brought Some Reindeer Pets!

Klide returned to our house on Thursday with a special surprise for the kids from the North Pole! They each got an Elf Pet Reindeer!  Kaiden named his Windee Tyler and Kiersen named hers Sparkle Sunlight.  They have been carrying around those reindeer non-stop since they got them.  No doubt in my mind these little guys are going to be part of Santa's Reindeer Team on Christmas Eve!
