Kade loves fishing, and I love taking him fishing. I am especially enjoying catfishing with him this year. Kiersen has gone fishing with us twice this spring - the first time she lasted about 10 minutes and hadn't caught anything so she was done, and the second time (catfishing), she wasn't interested and ended up going to sleep on her chair. Kade has two big fishing trips that he's looking forward to this year - the Outer Banks with Uncle Kevvers and the Buttonwood trip with his friend Riley. Something tells me it's going to be a fishing kind of summer (oh wait . . . isn't it always a fishing kind of summer . . . ha ha).

Rusted Gate Farm - Team Trip . . .
Kiersen and her team took a trip to Rusted Gate Farms. Most of the girls were excited to pet and hold the goats, but not Kiersen, she went straight for the chickens! She was in her element for sure!

Kiersen Turns 12 . . .
For Kiersen's Birthday we celebrated by going out to eat at Red Lobster after her gymnastics meet in Maryland. She was so happy that the wait staff sang Happy Birthday to her (video attached). The next day we celebrated with a chicken cake.

Trout Fishing with Daddy . . .
Kenny took Kaiden trout fishing this morning. They got three fish and now Kaiden is so excited for dinner! It's funny how if I try to feed him store bought fish he fusses, but if it's a fish he caught it's the 'best thing ever'. My little fisherman.

Kaiden . . .
Kaiden (or Kade as he likes to be called) is my 'partner in crime'. I love when he wants to go exploring with me. Last week we spotted a beaver at the pond we go to in Hershey. I was so excited! In my 41 years I've never seen a beaver! I was hoping to get another chance at seeing him (this time with my camera), but it didn't work out, so instead, I took some pictures of Kade. He isn't near as cooperative as Kiersen when it comes to taking photos, but I did get a few that turned out nice.

Tri-Valley Archery Match . . .
Kaiden's last archery match of the season was on February 22nd at Tri-Valley High School. He was SO nervous about this shoot, but he still did well at 253/300. He's heading to the state competition in a week, and we can't wait to watch him there! What a great season he's had, and we are so proud of him!
