My Little Poser (April 2, 2022) . . .

 This girl loves to pose for me.  I was outstide taking pictures of Kaiden's fish and she just hand to have me take a few photos.  If everyone was so willing to pose for my camera, I'd be happy!

Youth Trout Day 2022 (March 26, 2022) . . .

Last Saturday was youth trout season.  Kenny took the kids to the Rock Stream to fish with their friends Jeff, Kyran and Karson.  There are lots of photos here of Kiersen, but trust me when I say that Kade was there too, he just didn't take the time to take an photos (other than the last photo shown here).  They caught and released over 30 fish!

Kiersen Turns 11 (March 19, 2022) . . .

 Kiersen turned 11 o0n March 19th.  Instead of asking for gifts she decided to ask for money so we could go shopping for the local animal shelters.  She had so much fun picking everything out, but even more fun dropping off the things at the shelter.  We were able to do a tour at the one shelter, and the other shelter gave her a future animal shelter volunteer tee shirt.  I love her kind heart.  

Christmas Candy Ribbons . . .

It's that time of the year again!  The elf is back, the tree is up, the Christmas music is streaming through the house (okay - in fairness, Christmas music is ALWAYS streaming through my house ... ha ha), AND, the Christmas candy ribbons have come out of the closet.  On Saturday the kids made their selections from the loot we collected at Smith's Candy Store on Wednesday, and now we're just waiting for December 1st!  We're all ready to start counting down!

First Football Game of the Season!

Today was the first football game of the 2018 season.  Kiersen had lots of fun cheering with her friends at the smurf game.  It's funny that last year she was the smallest one on her squad, but this year she's one of the bigger girls (okay - maybe that's not entirely true, but there are quite a few girls smaller than she is).  She, of course, likes to tumble the best and loves showing off for the fans.  Kaiden is on the pony team this year.  They had a fabulous start to their season with a 12-0 win over Halifax.  Kaiden did very well and is super happy/proud to be wearing the same football number that Kenny did when he played ball . . . go #61!
