The Tale of 'Tail-Misser' . . .

For the last month Kenny and Kaiden have been listening for turkeys.  There was a turkey on our camera that was missing a tail feather which Kaiden named 'Tail-Misser'.  He told Kenny 'that's the one I want to shoot, daddy'.  Today was open turkey season for the youth hunters....can you guess which turkey Kaiden got?  That's right....'Tail-Misser'.  I think I have a serious turkey hunter on my hands!

Always Flipping!

My little Kiersen lives for gymnastics.  It's the first thing she does when she wakes up, and the last thing she does before going to bed.  If she's not on the trampoline practicing, she's flipping on my bed, practicing handstands against our doors and jumping off anything she can find.  She puts on 'shows' for me every night.  It's fun watching her get better and better.

Easter Dress Up . . . .

Kiersen couldn't wait to wear her bright orange Easter dress....Kaiden told me to 'forget about it' . . . he was not dressing up!  It's funny how girls and boys are so different.  We went to my parents only for a short time on Easter (we do Easter later), and they gave the kiddos their Easter gifts.  Kaiden got money towards the latest hunting gadget he and Kenny are dreaming of, and Kiersen got a balance beam.  As you can tell from her face, she was super excited.  I can't get her off the thing!  Thank you Grandma and Paw Paw!

Easter Morning . . .

The kids didn't 'catch' the Easter Bunny, but they sure did find a ton of eggs in the yard!

Fishing & Fun at Sweet Arrow Lake . . . .

On Friday Kiersen and I decided to tag along with Kenny and Kaiden while they went fishing at Sweet Arrow Lake.  Kiersen was lucky enough to reel in the first trout of the day, and Kaiden snagged two more. What a beautiful day it was.  Sweet Arrow is one of my favorite places to be. especially when we all get to be there together.
