Princess in a Green Dress . . .

We bought Kiersen a beautiful, green dress for Christmas.  Unfortunately, she was sick at Christmas and we didn't really get to take many good pictures.  This week she pulled it out of the closet, took off the big, red flower on the front and asked if we could dress up and do 'princess pictures'.  So we did, and I loved it.  She was smiling from ear to ear as she paraded around the lake posing for her pictures.

Cookies & Cream . . .

I found this adorable video Kiersen took of her 'cheer squad' on my phone.  I guess the cheer is called 'Cookies and Cream'.  Adorable!

Go Stars!

I think someone is missing cheerleading!  This week she pulled out some dolls and was stunt building with them.  She even made this little sign and took photos and videos of her 'team'.  Cute!

Cold Day for Fishing . . .

Now that online schooling has started, we have a lot less time for fun things.  We woke up early on Wednesday and headed to a fishing hole.  It was so cold (32 degrees and windy) and Kaiden didn't have a single bite, but Kiersen sure did enjoy playing around.

Campfire & Hammock Fun . . .

The kids are really into campfires lately, so this week we had another one (after all, there can never be too much of a good thing, right?).  It was cold though, so Kiersen decided to bring out some snuggle blankets for the hammock.  Perfect night.

Fashion Designer . . .

One night last week Kiersen asked me if she could cut her nylons she wore with her Christmas dress.  At first I was hesitant, but I let her, and this is what she made - a little white shirt.  Sometimes I cannot believe how creative she is!

Our Littlest Photographer ...

This morning while the boys where fishing, Kiersen got her 'girls' dressed up for Easter (she even made them their Easter headbands).  After she had them all dressed she said 'now we're going to do a little photo shoot girls'.  She's really loving photography right now - guess I know what she'll be asking for for Christmas this year!

Trout Fishing with Daddy . . .

Kenny took Kaiden trout fishing this morning.  They got three fish and now Kaiden is so excited for dinner!  It's funny how if I try to feed him store bought fish he fusses, but if it's a fish he caught it's the 'best thing ever'.  My little fisherman.

Trout Fishing!

Trout unexpectedly started on Tuesday (because, what hasn't changed because of the corona virus).  We scrambled to find a fishing hole, and ended up going to Indiantown Run.  Kaiden caught about 15 small ones and lost 2 nice, big ones.  Although we didn't get any keepers, we had a great afternoon.  He thinks Kiersen has to be interested in fishing the way he is, but she just doesn't have the same attention span he does.  Once she catches one she moves on to climbing on rocks and logs instead.

Trout Fishing & Spring by Kiersen Olivia ...

Trout fishing started this week, so we spent lots of time at streams and lakes.  On this particular trip we were at Sweet Arrow Lake.  Kaiden didn't catch any fish, but Kiersen still wanted to take pictures.  I think she did a pretty good job for her first time with the camera.  Now I can't get her to put the camera down!  She loves it and wants to 'photo shoot' everything and every one!

A Letter to the Easter Bunny . . .

Tomorrow is Easter, and Kiersen is SO excited.  She's already picked out her dress, picked out and dressed up all her babies, made two Easter headbands, colored her Easter Eggs and written a letter to the Easter Bunny.  Kaiden's Easter prep involves dyeing eggs and trout fishing (ha ha).
