Walking on Her Hands . . .

Kiersen has been practicing walking on her hands.  A few weeks ago (when this video was taken), she walked from one side of the garage to the other!

Toilet Paper Video . . .

Kiersen's gymnastics team is doing a team unity video.  Each of the girls catches a roll of toilet paper (fitting because of the corona virus), does a skill and then tosses the toilet paper to the next girl.  We worked on this video for probably a good hour, and I'd love to show you all the bloopers (because honestly they are better than the actual video we submitted).  The coaches are working on putting together the complete video with all the girls.  Can't wait to see it.  

Back Handsprings on the High Beam!

Two weeks ago Kiersen put her back handspring on the high beam!

Pink Invitational Floor Routine . . .

Kiersen's floor routine at the Pink Invitational last month.  She got her highest score yet - 9.800!  She got first place and got put on the Top 100 Gymnast list for the second time! 

Pink Invitational Bar Routine . . .

Kiersen's bar routine at the Pink Invitational last month.  She got second place with a 9.400.

Front Tuck Work . . .

Kiersen started working on her front tucks last week at the gym.  Front tumbling is new to her, but she really likes it!

Top 100 Gymnast in the US - Floor - 9.800

At the Pink Invitational, Kiersen qualified for America's Top 100 for a second time this year on floor with her new personal best score of 9.800!

Pink Invitational . . .

Kiersen and her teammates attended the Pink Invitational in Philly on February 21st.  It was the biggest meet Kiersen has ever been to.  All the girls wore the same leotards and the money for the event was donated to Unite For Her which helps women battling breast cancer.  Kiersen did well at this meet, and her team did too - they got  FIRST!  Her scores were:  Vault - 9.225 (#5), Beam - 9.325 (#2), Bars - 9.400 (#2), Floor - 9.800 (#1), AA - 37.750 (#2).  The highlight of the event was when she received her 9.800 on the floor.  That was the score she's been aiming for all year, and it also put her in the Top 100 Gymnasts of the US for a second time.  The smile on her face said it all!

Level 3 - Top 100 Gymnast - Floor . . .

Congrats to Kiersen for her first Top 100 score.  Score - 9.750/Floor!

Hugs & Kisses Meet . . .

Kiersen's Home Meet (The Hugs & Kisses Invitational) was held on February 9th.  It was a fun meet and Kiersen did very well.  Her scores were:  Bars - 9.700 (#2), Beam - 9.050 (#3), Vault - 9.625 (#3) and Floor - 9.750 (#3) - AA - 38.125 (#3).  The highlight of the meet was that her floor score qualified her for the Top 100 Gymnasts in the United States.  She was so excited!  Congrats to Kiersen and all her hard work!

Dave Moskovitz Gymnastics Invitational . . .

Kiersen had her second meet on Sunday in West Chester.  Her scores were - Floor (9.500 - 1st), Beam (9.025 - 3rd), Bars (9.150 - 3rd), Vault (9.150), All Around (36.825 - 3rd).
