A Video for Daddy . . .

For a while now Kiersen hasn't wanted to do much gymnastics.  She's even cried when I drop her off for practice, but over the last week, that's all she wants to do.  This is a video she wanted me to record for her and send to Kenny while he was at work.  I don't know, but something about this one melts my heart.  I love how she gets all excited before she actually does the back tuck!

Working on Next Year . . .

Every year Kenny tells Kiersen something he'd like to see her do when she's cheering.  The first year he wanted her to be able to do a round off back handspring during the halftime show.  Last year he wanted her to do a round off back handspring back tuck during the halftime show.  This year he put in his request early, and he wants her to do a standing back tuck during her hello cheer instead of doing a jump or a kick.  So, she's working on it . . . 

Reward Ice Cream!

This week at gymnastics Kiersen got her standing back tuck all by herself....so we headed to Dairy Queen for some cotton candy blizzards.  We'll all use any excuse we can to get our hands on some DQ!  Congratulations Kiersen - we are so proud of your accomplishments!
