Can't Catch Me!

We had a snowstorm two weeks ago and the kids decided they would build snowmen in the side yard.  When they were done they wanted me to take pictures.  After the pictures, Kaiden was trying to tell RJ to bite the carrot nose off of Kiersen's snowman.  RJ didn't respond how he wanted him to . . . instead he went over to Kaiden's snowan and grabbed the leg off and ran around the yard with it.  Typically I would've been upset that he ruined the snowman, but it was so funny because it was almost as if he was saying, 'no, I don't want that carrot nose, but your snowman's leg looks tasty'.  Kiersen and I laughed and laughed as we watched Kaiden chase him around the yard with it!

 

Springtime Meltdown Meet . . .

Kiersen's team competed in their last meet on March 12th.  It just so happened that we got a lot of snow and wind that day, so the drive there was a little messy, but she did very well, and her team placed 2nd overall.  

 

Kade's State Archery Competition . . .

 Kade ended his archery season with his state meet in State College on March 11th.  He had his highest score of the season (287/300) and took home second place.  So proud of him!  He really put in the work and practiced very hard this year.  

Upper Dauphin Archery Match . . .

 In February Kade had an archery match at Upper Dauphin.  He took home 5th place with a score of 275/300.

Pink Invitational . . .

 In February we traveled to Philadelphia for the Pink Invitational.  Kiersen's team took second place.  The dressed up as doctors and nurses for the walk in which was fun.  The backs of their scrubs said 'a Hershey Kiss a day keeps covid away'.

Halifax Archery Match . . .

Kaiden's fourth match of the season was at Halifax.  (He had another match at the end of January, but we were not able to attend because of Tubby's funeral services, so he went with his friend Jaco...so there are no photos from that shoot).  He shot a 277/300 and took 5th place.
