Christmas morning came early this year. Typically we start opening gifts around 7:30 or so after I get up and get ready first, but this year the kids got up as soon as my feet touched the floor. Kiersen had been dreaming of a reborn toddler doll, and had asked Santa for it. As soon as she saw Santa's gift she realized it wasn't a doll because of the size of the package and she started to cry. Over and over she kept saying how all she wanted was a toddler doll and Santa didn't bring her. She kept saying 'it's all I've been dreaming of'. What she didn't know was that mommy and daddy had gotten her her doll. As she was opening the Santa gift she was sobbing, but the sobbing turned quickly to smiles as she opened her other gift. Kaiden got a 308 gun this year. He knew he was getting it because we wanted to allow him to pick out exactly what he wanted. Imagine his surprise when he opened his box to find an old bb gun wrapped up in the 308 box! He was all smiles when Kenny brought out the real one! RJ was his usual self - not wanting to open presents upstairs with the rest of us and running around like a wild pup. This is the only picture I could get of him, and it wasn't the best picture.
