Puppy Love...

Breakfast on a Chilly Morning...

This morning Kaiden (Tigger) & I thought it would be nice to have breakfast on the back deck again. Wow were we in for a surprise though...it wasn't the typical warm, sunny summer morning....it felt more like fall. Of course, fall is my favorite time of the year, so I didn't mind pulling on a sweatshirt, even if it is July. Kaiden really seemed to enjoy the birds singing this morning...another one of my favorites. Love this little nature boy!

On Thursday night we packed up the 4-Runner, picked up my Uncle Kevin and headed south for a weekend and my grandpa's beach house....

Aunt Kimmie Get's Surgery...

Today Kaiden's Aunt Kimmie got heart surgery. We got the news around 2:00 that everything went well, and that the problem should now be fixed. We are all very relieved. God is good!

Kaiden Turns Three...

Today I celebrated Kaiden's third birthday by taking the day off of work, so that we could spend the day doing anything he wanted. We had soooo much fun! (Although I must admit, several times throughout the day I thought about the laundry I should be folding, the dishes I should be putting away, or the work e-mail I should be checking).

I let him create the agenda, and oh what an agenda it was....

~ 8:00 a.m. ~

Wake up time! Kaiden discovers that his brother, Remmy, blew up 80 balloons overnight and put them in his bedroom. After a moment of confusion and groggy little eyes, he shouted, 'hey....how did all these balloons get in here'. When I told him it was Remmy, he got a smile and said 'he must really love me to put all of these in here'.

~ 9:00 a.m. ~

The lawn needed some attention, I guess....Kaiden geared up mommy with his new leaf blower, and he got out his new weed wacker. Kaiden gave mommy strict instructions not to blow over any flowers and to stay back away from him because it is 'dangerous to be near his wacker'.

~ 10:30 a.m. ~

Play Dough! What can be better than making burgers and fries with new, soft Play Dough!

~ Noon ~

Spending time with his party dog, Remmy. Yes, we tied balloons on his collar....

~ 1:30 p.m. ~

To McDonald's for a Happy Meal and Play Land with his cousins, Richy, Carree & Nikka!

~ 3:00 p.m. ~

Running through the sprinkler, swimming in his Nemo Pool and eating popsicles with his cousins.

~ 5:00 p.m. ~

Exhausted...sleeping on the sofa with his Cookie Monster...

~ 6:00 p.m. ~

Daddy's home! Time for Kaiden's 'second wind'....this party's not over, it's just getting started!

It's hard to believe he's three already...time surely is flying by. Thanks for a great day, little man. I love you!
