Don't Worry Mommy...

The handle of my dishwasher broke in half this morning. Kaiden, noticing my disappointment, disappeared for a moment, returning with a screwdriver and a big smile. He got down on his knees (because I was on the floor), and looked up at me and said 'don't worry mommy, K.T. fix it for you'. And he did....with a little help from daddy.

Helpin' With the Dishes...

Apparently little guys need hard hats to help unload dishwashers now....at least that's what Kaiden told me this morning!

Kenny and Kaiden love to wrestle each other in the Living Room. Most times Kenny will let him 'win', but if he thinks he's not winning, he'll lift up Kenny's shirt and blow on his belly! You don't see those kind of moves on daddy's Extreme Fighting shows, now do you!!

Do You Remember?

Do you remember what it was like to be a kid with a tall glass of milk sitting in front of you? Do you remember how hard it was not to want to blow bubbles into it, even though your parents were telling you 'don't you dare'? Today Kaiden decided it would be fun to blow bubbles in his chocolate milk. My first reaction was to say 'don't you dare, Kaiden Tyler', but I didn't - I watched him do it and laughed right along with him. After all - he's only little once, right?!!?!? Childhood - sweet childhood!

Putting on the Finishing Touches...

Kenny just finished putting the final touches on this deer today. It's a beautiful one...kinda wish it was going on my wall!

Shoveling the Last of the Snow...

Yesterday Kenny and Kaiden shoveled off the last bit of snow from our deck. I love having a big deck, but when it snows like this it sure isn't very fun to shovel....and that's why I was on the warm side looking out as I took these photos!

Kaiden (and Remmy) got a little bag of valentine goodies this morning. Although he liked everything, I'm pretty sure the balloons were his favorite. I think we've gone through about a half bag already....Remmy just can't play balloons with Kaiden without breaking them! As Kaiden would say 'those darn teeth, Remmy!'

Dear God...

Kaiden and I like to pray before he goes to bed. Tonight Kaiden decided he wanted to say the prayer....this is what he said:

'Hi God...Kaiden Tyler wants to shoot deer meat...AMEN!'

Redneck-ish....YES, but cute (real cute).

Not My Idea of Cleaning Up!

After we got home from the Sportsman's Show this afternoon, Kaiden and I threw on some old clothes while Kenny, his dad and his brother went on a 'guys night out' to the Casino (to win us some money, I hope). Our intent was to clean the house. Kaiden's always very helpful, and tonight he told me he would start dusting in his room. About 5 minutes into my cleaning of the computer room (which is directly across from Kaiden's Room), I realized that the dusting seemed to be getting awfully noisy. As I peeked around the corner, this is what I saw! Kaiden, of course, was smiling (sleeves rolled up) and was saying 'working hard mama....room pretty dirty'. Yeah....thanks Kaiden....not exactly my idea of cleaning!
