Guess who got her nails and toenails painted this afternoon? For a three year old, she's very good about waiting for them to dry! I had to laugh at her lounging on her Sofia chair waiting for them to dry, fingers outstretched. Queen Kiersen!

Snowy Day Craft . . .
Since the kids were home today, I decided to do some crafting with them. We made polar bears! Kiersen named her rainbow polar bear 'Straw-beary Shortcake' and Kaiden named his bear with lots of teeth 'Vishes Bear' (he sounded out the word Vicious...adorable). Doing crafts with them on a day off of school makes me ready for summer vacation all over again!
Ice Cream Snow....Yuck!
I found this easy recipe for ice cream snow, so I thought it would be fun to try with the kids today. Long story short....it was a flop! It tasted like milky melted ice. I don't know....maybe we've just been spoiled by my mom and dad's homemade ice cream over the years!
King of the Snow Hill!
Over the weekend Kenny built RJ and the kids a snow hill to play on. Boy are they having lots of fun climbing, sliding and playing on it! Wait until after we get this other snow storm today and tomorrow....the hill will really be big!

What's for Dinner Chef Kiersen?
This week Kiersen decided she wanted to make dinner. She made Shepard's Pie, and oh boy was she excited to show Kenny and Kaiden when they got home. She even made jello for dessert that night!
The 'Doc' is in...
One morning this week Kaiden woke up with a cough. Kiersen decided to give him a check up and 'make him better' (all while he was trying to eat breakfast). It must've helped though...his cold never developed into anything more! Looking for a new family doctor? Contact Doc McKiersen today at 555-123-4567!
Look Who I found in the Dryer!
Kiersen's idea of helping me out with the laundry is climbing in the dryer and screaming 'take pictures of me mommy'. Cutest load of laundry I did all week long!

A Snowy Sunday Stroll...
RJ thought he had to take his piggy along for the walk
Kaiden's already running ahead!
Kaiden throwing snow in the air
Turkey Tracks!
RJ running around like a wild man
The view from the top looking down towards the house
RJ checking out a deer bed
It's always tug-of-war time when RJ is near!
Daddy's girl
Just like daddy
Today was chilly, but nice, so after church we decided to go for a walk on our land. Kenny and I used to love to do that before we had kids, but today I discovered that it's even better now when the kids are with. Kaiden is like a little Kenny - intrigued by the deer signs and many tree stands Kenny has set up. RJ is just like Remmy used to be - he loves smelling all the animal tracks, chewing on branches and running around like a crazy dog. Kiersen wasn't interested in any of it - she just wanted Kenny to hold her (spoiled lil' daddy's girl). As for me - I just like taking it all in. The cold, crisp air, the view and being outside with the gang.
