January 25th - 50 Degrees!

I could hardly believe it was 50 degrees outside yesterday!  It was January 25th, not April 25th!  The kids and I took advantage of the nice weather and headed to the Bethel Elementary School Playground for some good old fashion fun.  I want some snow, but when we have warm days like this, it really does make me anxious for spring and all the fun we can have outdoors.

Fishing & Monkeying Around . . .

With this being the last full week we have off until the kids go to school, we're trying to squeeze in some of their favorite things, and what could be better than fishing (for Kaiden) and climbing around like a monkey (for Kiersen)?!!?!?

I think the kids are getting a little spoiled by all the outside water games/activities and pool time we've been having.  Today we went to the park for a picnic and some playground time and within a half hour they didn't want to play because it was 'too hot'.

Last week mom and I took Kiersen to the playground at Coleman's Park.  Although it was a bit run down, Kiersen didn't seem to mind.  She had such a good time playing on all the dinosaurs.
