Practice Makes Perfect . . .

Kaiden got a cross bow for Christmas.  He hasn't been able to do much shooting with it yet because we've had a lot of snow this winter and it's hard to walk through it to get to where he practices, but back in January (yes, I'm very behind on posting my pictures) I was sitting at gymnastics watching Kiersen practice and I got a text with this photo.  He makes me smile!

Little Hunter?

Kiersen decided one day (out of the blue) that she wanted to go hunting with Kaiden and Kenny this year.  Kenny told her if she would practice and get good at shooting the gun, he would get her a license.  She must get her shooting skills from Kenny, because she took two shots and they were pretty darn good (see picture above).  But....she doesn't know if she wants to go hunting now because she doesn't know if she really wants to kill a deer.  Guess we'll leave it to the boys to get our food this year!

My Little Archer . . .

He amazes me with how many times he hits the bulls eye!  He's so much like Kenny.  I can't wait until next year when he's old enough to be on the Archery Team!
