Kaiden cracks me up . . . here he goes again with the 'count down' to turkey season!  Like father like son, I guess!

More Fishing!

Because it was so nice on Monday, I decided to take the kids fishing after school.  They didn't catch anything in the stream, so we moved to where we knew we could catch something - sunny fish!  The kids don't care if they're catching trout or sunnies as long as they're catching.

Trout Fishing with Daddy . . .

Over the weekend I went with my niece prom dress shopping so Kenny took the kids trout fishing.  They both caught one and were very excited!  RJ, however, was not excited that he couldn't sample the fish . . . and believe me he tried!

Look Mom - No Hands!!!

On Kiersen's birthday she did her first back tuck, but last night I finally caught it on video.  Although she still has to improve her form a bit, I am super proud of how hard she's worked to get it.  I can't remember how old I was when I did my first back tuck, but I know I was older than seven!  

Easter 2018 . . .

The kids were super excited about the Easter Bunny coming this year, but they decided not to set up any traps because he's such a tricky bunny.  They woke up bright and early on Easter morning to peek at their baskets before 'waking us up'.  I heard them downstairs talking about all the goodies they got in their baskets for about a half hour before they finally decided to come up and ask if they could open everything up.  Then we headed outside for an egg hunt.  They had a second egg hunt in the afternoon at Grandma Nan & Paw Paw's house, so they have lots and lots of candy!

On Friday the kids dyed their Easter eggs.  Before we even got started a whole cup of dye got spilled and landed on the floor.  I had blue dye on my chairs, the wall, the floor, the door, and my cabinets!  At least it was a pretty color!!!

Trampoline Kick Ball!

The kids were playing kick ball on the trampoline the other day.  I couldn't help but smile when I saw the 'twist' they added to the game.  Kiersen kicks the ball when Kaiden throws it to her, but she kicks it while doing a back tuck!  Kids can be so creative when they play!
