Last Sunday I took the kids to Hershey Park Candylane. Don't get me wrong, I love going to Candy Lane, but I typically don't enjoy the long lines and croweded walkways. But this year it was AMAZING! The weather was great and the park was empty! The kids would go on a ride and get right back on the very next time, and on some rides they just stayed on the ride and told the operator they wanted to ride again. We rode so many rides and had such a great night together. We didn't want the night to end!

Home Depot Santa . . .
Last week I stopped at Home Depot to pick up some water filters, and the kids found this giant Santa. They (especially Kiersen) were very excited about him. I couldn't help but snap a few pictures! Kaiden's face in the first photo is comical. He was hugging the Santa, but it looks like he was trying to choke him!
Letters to Santa . . .
The kids just couldn't wait any longer for Klide to arrive, so on Monday they sent their letters to Santa, hoping he would arrive just a few days early. It worked! He's back!

Midnight Tumbler . . .
So Kiersen hasn't been sleeping well - it's not that she can't sleep, it's that she can't stop thinking about tumbling. On Saturday it was about 11:30 at night, and we heard a pitter patter in the living room. Then, all of the sudden the lights go on. As I looked downstairs there she was dressed in a leo working on her oversplits, side aerials, back tucks and her 'Sophie Dawsie' moves. Love my little tumbler!
Kenny's 2019 Archery Buck . . .
Last week Kenny shot his archery buck. I was pretty happy with the antlers, and I can't wait to add them to our 'monster mantle'. RJ was pretty happy about it too because Kenny always cooks him a bone in the woodstove. As you can see by the last picture, he was watching over the deer to make sure no one would take it. Congratulations to my handsome hunter!
2019 Christmas Ornaments . . .
| Kiersen's Ornament |
| Kaiden's Ornament |
A few years ago my mom started a new tradition for me. It's one I really love a lot. Each year the kids make special ornaments for me. I'm sad that Kaiden no longer likes to do them (I guess he's out of the crafting stage), but Kiersen still enjoys it. I told him he'll have to do them for me anyway, and that I expect to get them every year until he turns 18! Love the ones they did this year!

Christmas Tree Time!
The Bat & The Chef . . .
Kaiden's 8 Point Buck (Archery)!
Last week Kaiden and Kenny went archery hunting. When they got home Kaiden was so excited to tell me that he shot an 8 point buck. Unfortunately it got too dark to track it and Kenny had to go back the next day to see if he could find it. And.....he did! It was a bummer that Kaiden couldn't be in any of these pictures, but we didn't want to take him out of school because Kenny wasn't sure if we would find it or not. He's was so happy when he got home from school! I'm so proud of my little hunter!
Cast Handstand On Bars!
Last week the girls took a break from working on their routines to do some 'up skills', and their coach had them working on cast handstands on the bars. For some reason Kiersen caught onto this skill very quickly and did one all by herself. She's the one on the far bar dressed in black. If you see her coaches face, I think she was shocked she did it without spot too! She was so excited to tell me that this move is a level 7 move. Way to go Kiersen!
