Beach Time (Okay - Well, Not Exactly)...

What do you get when you add bathing suits and a shark to tub time???  A whole lotta fun!

These two were so excited when I told them we were 'going to the beach' and that they should go and get their bathing suits on.  Kaiden was surfing, Kiersen was splashing, and when I brought in the shark they were giggling like crazy!  Maybe I'll just save the travel time this year and head to the bathtub instead of the beach!!!

I Spy SPRING!

Kaiden and Kiersen love playing the game 'I spy', so I thought it would be fun to play 'I spy' in a different way tonight.  I had my camera and asked them to find as many things as they could that were growing because it was spring, and then I took pictures of their 'discoveries'.  Kaiden acted as though he was a scientist, and Kiersen got excited about every green blade of grass she found :)  They really enjoyed the new twist on our old game, and we quickly made our way through the trails in the woods and found so many neat things.  Next time we do it, I'm going to turn the camera over to Kaiden and let him be the photographer!

Hide & Seek Tag

It was such a beautiful day today, so the kids and I decided to play a little game of hide & seek tag outside.  I have to laugh how they always seem to pick the same spots - Kiersen's always on the deck behind the old picket fence (eating her rice krispee treats), and Kaiden always picks underneath the deck.  Yet...both of them always act surprised when they find each other!

Guess Who Got Flowers?

The kids were so proud when they picked me these 'flowers' the other day.  Kaiden checked on them every day to make sure they were still there.  I, of course, loved them too...nothing could be better....not even roses delivered with a note could make me this happy!  Wonder if my mom felt the same when we picked her flowers?

Picnics (We Love 'Em)

The kids are really into 'picnics' right now.  They consider a picnic to be anything other than having lunch at the table....so we've been mixing it up for them - two of their favorite places are outside near their fort area and in their camo tent.  Remmy even joins in....hoping for just a teeny-weeny bite of their PB&J's!

The Easter Bunny Has Arrived!

Can't forget our Remmy!

After our egg hunt Easter morning, we led the kids outside to see their Easter gift - a pool.  They were so excited about it!  They were running around like crazy people dancing and shouting and acting like they were swimming.  I can't imagine how much fun they'll have when it's actually filled with water!  After we finally talked them in to coming inside (because it was really cold out there), we made bunny pancakes for breakfast, and for some reason, they just tasted yummier than normal :)

Time to Hunt the Easter Eggs!

Pouting - she did not want to be in that Easter dress!

Sorta not fair, but we didn't make Kaiden dress up this year

Cooper's First Easter!

Holly & Rowan (Rowan's First Easter Too!)

The Gang

Easter was cold and rainy this year, but that didn't stop us from having a good time.  After our morning activities we headed off for two egg hunts - one and grandma and paw paw's and a second out at grandma nan and pawpaw's.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a single picture at the second hunt because it was outside and it was rainy :(
