Snow!

So today it snowed and it was beautiful!  The kids went sledding, attempted to build a snowman, made snow angels and trekked through the woods.  Every time the kids would start rolling up a snowball to build a snowman, RJ would run in and wreck it!  I guess he thought the kids were playing a game.  We stayed out and played for over two hours until we finally got too cold and had to come inside.  We love snow!

Yesterday Kiersen wanted to have a makeover party.  I was her first client, so I got my hair and my makeup done for free!  She didn't think I'd let her use my 'real' makeup, but when I told her she could she was so excited.  I couldn't get her to stop smiling and giggling.  I had purple eye shadow, blue eyeliner, peach blush and hot pink lip gloss...she even threw in some glitter on my cheeks!  Something tells me we're going to have a lot more of these 'makeover' parties!

Go Kart!

 

Both grandparents went together to buy Kaiden & Kiersen a Go Kart for Christmas.  Today was so warm that we decided to go out and ride for a bit this morning.  They have a blast on this thing.  It's too bad our driveway isn't paved, it would go so much nicer.  Maybe the grandparents will go together to get that for me next year (ha ha).  Kaiden is a little like his daddy though - he kept veering off the driveway into the woods and trying to find rock piles to drive off!  It's nice that the seat is adjustable so they can both ride.
