Catfish Tournament 2022 . . .

 

In July Kaiden entered his first catfish tournament.  I stayed out with him the first night, and Kenny stayed out with him the second night.  He loved it and caught a bunch of catfish.  I'm sure we'll be doing it next year too!

Fourth of July 2022 . . .

Fourth of July is always one of the best days for the kids - spending time in the pool with their cousins and fireworks!  This year we had some silliness going on (Tanner in the double goggles and Kiersen blowing up her swimsuit top).  Kade spent a lot of the day with Easton.  He's so good with the little ones.

June Fishing 2022 . . .

 

Since we do so much fishing in the summer, I'm combining photos from several of our June fishing trips.  In this batch of photos, Kiersen even tagged along.  I always love to watch Kade with her.  Most of the time he spends more time helping her than actually fishing, but he doesn't seem to mind.  One day when he's a dad he's going to be the best teacher to his kid(s) because of his patience.

Easter 2022 (April 17, 2022) . . .

 

Last weekend we celebrated Easter.  As typical, Kenny roped off an area of the woods and hid the kids' eggs.  It was pretty cold and ended up snowing for a little.  RJ helped Kaiden find eggs this year, but he only found ones with PB cups in them, which we thought was funny.  Next year we decided to hide him some eggs too (with dog treats, not chocolate).
