Halloween 2022 . . .

Kade no longer dresses up for Halloween, but Kiersen still enjoys it.  This year she was Oscar the Grouch, which is something her gymnastics team did for their Halloween Party.

Halloween Makeup by Kiersen . . .

Kiersen loves playing with makeup.  On this day it wasn't pretty makeup though - it was Halloween makeup.  I was surprised how real her nose bleed looked!

15 Pounds of Candy!

We went to two Halloween parades - one in Tremont and one in Pine Grove.  To say Kiersen collected a ton of candy is an understatement!  15 pounds of candy to be exact!!!!

Halloween 2018 . . .

For school on Wednesday, Kaiden dressed up like a hunter (because he wasn't allowed to wear his mask to school).  In the evening we decided to do something a little different and take the kids trick or treating (something we've never done with them - with the exception of taking them to their grandparents' houses).  We had a fun night, and it was nice because Kenny was off of work and was able to go with us too.

Alexis Turns 8!

On Saturday we went to Alexis' 8th Birthday Party.  It was a Halloween themed party, complete with a bounce house, a hay ride, a pinata and more.  The kids always look forward to her birthday parties every year because they're so much fun!  Happy Birthday, Alexis!!!

Halloween Reward Day at School . . .

Today the kids had a fall reward day at school.  They were so excited to dress up in their Halloween best!  If Kiersen's costume looks familiar, it's because Kaiden has worn in 2 or 3 times before too.  That bat costume has been a really favorite around our house.  Kaiden wanted it very badly and I bought it kicking and screaming because it was so expensive.  But....after 4 years of use, I really can't complain...it ended up being the cheapest Halloween costume I've purchase.  Ava also came dressed as a hunter, and Logan came dressed as a werewolf.

The Halo Master & The Angel...

On Friday I was lucky enough to be able to volunteer at the kids' school for a Halloween Fun Day. The kids dressed up and had a parade around the track and then spent the rest of the day doing fun activities.  Kiersen was an angel this year, and I learned that fluffy pixie style tutu's are VERY hard to keep nice - it now looks like a matted jumbled mess, and we won't be doing the angel again next year! Kaiden was a 'Halo Master'.  Although he had no idea what a Halo Master was, he was very excited about his helmet which he could see out of, but no one could see into.

A Toothless Bat!

Ava....er, um....Thor!

Cathy and her bus were even dressed up today!

Today was dress up day at school for Kaiden, and he and Ava were so excited this morning at the bus stop.  This afternoon they have a parade around the stadium.  Kiersen can't wait to go!  Oh, and if you didn't notice it, Kaiden lost his front tooth this morning - he looks so mischievous now.  The second front tooth is also lose, so once he loses that we'll be singing 'All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth'.

Halloween Goodies...

RJ's new dragon WAS cute....by the next morning the squeaker was out, the stuffing was removed and the dragon was torn.  Poor dragon!

RJ with his new dragon and swollen, bee stung eye.

Trying her best to give me a smile.

Ken & I always give the kids their Halloween goodies the weekend of the Pine Grove Halloween Parade.  This year (as I'm sure you can tell by the pictures), Kiersen was a bit under the weather.
