Fishing with Cooper & Blake . . .

Two weeks ago we went fishing with my brother and his kiddos Cooper and Blake.  Blake didn't have too much of an interest in fishing, but he did spend lots of time on the swings.  We were able to get him off it for just a little so he could help catch a fish and play with some worms with Kiersen.  Cooper on the other hand loves fishing almost as much as Kaiden.  He gets so excited when he gets a fish!

Fishing with Cooper . . .

ONE QUICK THING BEFORE I START THIS POST . . . .
So by now you probably think that Kaiden only owns one shirt - his red Under Armour shirt!  I assure you that's not the case, but for some reason every time we go fishing (which is a lot), he picks out that shirt to wear!

NOW, ON TO THE POST . . .
This morning my brother, Gary, met us for a morning fish at the Canal in Pine Grove.  We caught some sunny fish, bass and even a snapping turtle.  It was fun to watch Cooper get all excited when a fish got on his line.  When he reeled in his first fish and touched it he said 'oh no, it peed on me'.  So cute!  Hopefully we can do another fishing trip sometime soon!

Blake Turns One!

Yesterday Blake turned one.  It's hard to believe - just feels like a couple of months ago that he was born!  Happy Birthday Blake!

Great Grandpa Stalnecker
We had Christmas morning at my parents' house.  Dad made Fry-Dough for breakfast (yummy) and then we all opened presents.  It was Blake's first Christmas and also the first Christmas we celebrated without my grandma.
