I Just Wanna Take a Nap!!!

Poor Remmy, all he wants to do is relax on his blanket by the fireplace, but Kaiden just won't leave him alone....how's a dog supposed to nap with toys everywhere!!!!

Monkey in a Monkey Blanket

My mom made Kaiden a monkey blanket for Christmas, and now he carries it everywhere he goes. Today I snapped a few pictures....love this little monkey!

Daddy Shoots a Late-Season Doe

Tonight Kenny shot a late-season doe. I'm happy Kenny's the hunter of the family and not me - I could never survive in this cold weather (Under Armour gear or not). At first Kaiden was very excited about the deer, but once Kenny started butchering it, he said it was 'yucky and he didn't want to eat it'. (Now there's a surprise......Kaiden doesn't want to eat anything other than M&M's these days!!!!)

As time goes on, I'm realizing more and more just how much Kaiden is going to be like Kenny. He's happiest when he's got a gun in his hand, just like his daddy.

My Little Picasso

Kaiden got his first set of watercolor paints for Christmas. It entertained him for quite some time this afternoon! I told him he was my little Picasso, so the whole time he was painting he kept repeating ' Picacco, Picacco'. Yep.....something like that!

Exhausted!

Since we were busy all day today putting away our Christmas decorations and gifts, we decided to get a pizza for dinner. Kaiden wanted to go with Kenny to pick it up, which was perfect because then I could finish up my vacuuming. When Kenny came home, Kaiden was fast asleep (keep in mind the pizza shop is only about 5 minutes from the house). I took him from Kenny so I could take off his jacket, but he still didn't wake up. We laid him on his new bean bag chair and tried everything to get him up, but he just kept on sleeping. I guess opening all those presents yesterday has left him exhausted!

Christmas was busy again this year. I woke Kaiden up about 7:00 a.m. to open his presents from Santa with his brother, Remmy, and then it was off to Grandma & PawPaw Bouchette's house. We had a yummy breakfast and then opened up some more presents. We arrived back at our house around 3:00 p.m. and gave Kaiden a quick nap before heading out to Nan and Paw Paw Echternach's house for lasagna (mmmm, mmmm, good!) and MORE gifts. We had such a nice day with our families; and now today, Kaiden keeps asking if he's going to get more presents.
