Handstand Back Handspring Connection (Video) . . .
Since Kiersen got her back handspring on the beam, she is now working on making connections (meaning two skills in a row). Here she is trying her handstand into her back handspring.
Giants (Video) . . . .
Kiersen has started to work on Giants at the gym, and she is SO happy about it!
Fishing, Fishing & More Fishing . . .
I am SO far behind on posting pictures, and we've done A LOT of fishing trips, so I'm lumping the photos all together. Kaiden loves catching bass right now. It's been neat to watch him progress from sun fish to bigger/harder to catch fish. Kiersen has just recently taken an interest in fishing, and I love watching Kaiden teach her!
Little Hunter?
Kiersen decided one day (out of the blue) that she wanted to go hunting with Kaiden and Kenny this year. Kenny told her if she would practice and get good at shooting the gun, he would get her a license. She must get her shooting skills from Kenny, because she took two shots and they were pretty darn good (see picture above). But....she doesn't know if she wants to go hunting now because she doesn't know if she really wants to kill a deer. Guess we'll leave it to the boys to get our food this year!
A Birthday Message for Brother . . .
Kiersen made the sweetest birthday message for Kaiden on my phone and sent it to him on his birthday. The most adorable thing is that she did it all on her own without us telling her to do it. This is one video I will treasure for a long, long time.
Kaiden Turns THIRTEEN!
On July 19th Kaiden turned THIRTEEN (how can I have a teenager?!!?!?). We had a low key birthday with pizza and a brownie cake the day before his birthday, and the following day we headed to Kenny's parent's house for shrimp, cake and swimming. Happy Birthday, buddy! We love you to pieces!
Old Man on the Mountain Memorial . . .
We almost got soaking wet (thank goodness for the tunnel we were able to duck in), but we made it to the Old Mountain on the Mountain Memorial on our last day in New Hampshire. We sure packed a lot into a three day trip! Not sure three months is even enough time to take in all the beauty of the White Mountains. Thanks to my brother, Steve, and Amanda for being out 'tour guides' and spending an AWESOME three days with us! A trip we will treasure forever!
Lil' Pancake Baker . . .
She LOVES making pancakes and talked about cooking them for everyone in New Hampshire for weeks, and that's just what she did on the last day at Uncle Steve & Aunt Banda's House.
ATV-ing White Mountain Style . . .
In New Hampshire we all rented ATV's and headed to Gorham to do some exploring. It was a beautiful day and we got to see a lot of pretty views.
My Little Dare Devil . . .
In New Hampshire Kaiden turned into a little 'Dare Devil'. He loved jumping off the cliffs into the water! This jump was done near Mount Washington.
New Hampshire - Railroad Tracks and a Swimming Hole . . .
I don't know the name of this cool swimming spot, but I do know that the kids had a blast swimming in it and jumping from it's cliffs. We were happy to see that Zack and Carree were there too, which made our day even better!
