Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree . . .

It's my very favorite time of the year - the time when we set up the tree, bake cookies, watch Christmas movies and play Christmas music (oh wait . . . I guess I actually listen to music all 12 months of the year, don't I?!!?!?)  

Easter Eggs . . . .

 

 

 

On Sunday the kids dyed Easter eggs.  Kaiden always keeps his eggs in forever and makes them really dark, but Kiersen loves them to be pastel colors.  We were careful to cover the table with an old tablecloth, but there must've been a small hole in it because when we took it off the table was all sorts of colors!

Archery Match #3 . . . .

Today was Kaiden's third Archery Match.  He shot a 255/300.  He had the third best score of all 6th grade boys, and was 14th out of 50 middle school boys.  He was on the 'leader board' for a while and he was really excited, but he dropped 4 spots after the final results were in, but all-in-all, he has nothing to complain about, because he shot really well today.  

Snow!

Yesterday we got snow!  Our first of the season.  I don't know why I love snow so much, but I do.  I love the silence in the air and the way the air feels.  Most people hate winter, but I think it's beautiful.  I love how you can see the mountain line from the house when there are no leaves on the trees.  Simply gorgeous!
