Christmas Candy Ribbons . . .

It's that time of the year again!  The elf is back, the tree is up, the Christmas music is streaming through the house (okay - in fairness, Christmas music is ALWAYS streaming through my house ... ha ha), AND, the Christmas candy ribbons have come out of the closet.  On Saturday the kids made their selections from the loot we collected at Smith's Candy Store on Wednesday, and now we're just waiting for December 1st!  We're all ready to start counting down!

First Football Game of the Season!

Today was the first football game of the 2018 season.  Kiersen had lots of fun cheering with her friends at the smurf game.  It's funny that last year she was the smallest one on her squad, but this year she's one of the bigger girls (okay - maybe that's not entirely true, but there are quite a few girls smaller than she is).  She, of course, likes to tumble the best and loves showing off for the fans.  Kaiden is on the pony team this year.  They had a fabulous start to their season with a 12-0 win over Halifax.  Kaiden did very well and is super happy/proud to be wearing the same football number that Kenny did when he played ball . . . go #61!

Swimming in the Pond . . .

Yesterday it was so nice - sunny and 80.  The kids decided they wanted to go to the pond after school to catch lizards and go swimming.  The water was freezing cold and it looked like the they were swimming in chocolate milk, but the kids didn't care.  They always have a blast at the pond (so does RJ).  We love mountain living!

Yesterday Holly had her 7th birthday party at Bounce-U in Annville,  Of course all the kids had a blast!  Who doesn't love bouncing and cupcakes!!!
