June Fishing 2022 . . .

Since we do so much fishing in the summer, I'm combining photos from several of our June fishing trips.  In this batch of photos, Kiersen even tagged along.  I always love to watch Kade with her.  Most of the time he spends more time helping her than actually fishing, but he doesn't seem to mind.  One day when he's a dad he's going to be the best teacher to his kid(s) because of his patience.

Bass Fishing Overload!

I have no idea how many bass Kade caught this summer, but I know it was A LOT!  He impresses me with his knowledge of how bass 'work'....he knows when the best time is for top water lures and diving lures, he can tell you all about water temperatures and how they affect the fish, and he's bought and tested so many new lures (snakes, mice, bats, ones that are shiny, ones that are noisy, ones that smell like licorice - the list goes on).  Nothing makes me happier than when he pulls the fish out of the water.  The smile on his face just makes my whole day.  Here is a compilation of just some of them he caught throughout the summer (I will save the 'special' ones for a different post).
