The kids did gingerbread houses again this year.  Kade wasn't too excited about it, but Kiersen really enjoys making them.

This year the gingerbread house decorating was extra fun.  The kids really took their time and did such a nice job on the houses.  Kaiden even cut out a door, which was pretty neat.  This is something I look forward to doing every year at Christmas, and I hope they will continue wanting to do them.

It's that time of the year!  Time for candy ribbons & gingerbread houses!

Gingerbread Houses...

Today we decorated our gingerbread houses and made sugar cookies.  It was tons of fun (as always), but there was tons of cleanup to do afterwards (as always).

Last night we decorated our gingerbread houses.  It was so much fun putting them together.  Kaiden didn't want any help at all (after all, he is 8 now!), but Kiersen hired her daddy to put 'icicles' on her roof and help her build it.
