Fishing & Photography at the Lake...

Tonight we went fishing....well....not really.....actually Kaiden went fishing and Kiersen and I got bored so we went off on our own.  Of course when we stayed with the boys Kaiden only caught one little fish, but after we left he caught 6 real fish!  So much for catching those fish with my camera!  It was a very nice night though....there's so much beauty out there right now....from nature and from my little girl!

Kaiden's 2016 Jake . . .

Kaiden's been counting down to this day for weeks now....opening day of Jr. Turkey Season.  This morning at 7:45 I heard the shot.  I didn't even question if he had shot it or missed it, and I immediately started getting my camera ready.  Sure enough, around 8:00 a.m. he and his 'guide' (aka - daddy) came walking out of the woods with his jake.  I always love his excitement and listening to 'the story' about how it all happened.  Until next year....

Anyone In There???

Last summer the kids painted birdhouses.  Today Kiersen decided to check hers out to see if any birds were living in it...boy was she disappointed.
