Kenny started at a new jobsite this week. The kids came up with the idea of having a 'Happy First Day at Work Party' for him. I thought the idea was adorable, so we went with it. They made a sign (see picture), blew up balloons, made homemade pizza and brownies. Kiersen even came up with a few games, including pinning the tail on the number 1 (number 1 representing his 'first' day).

Snow Day!
On Saturday we got lots of snow, but on Sunday it started melting quickly, so the kids went outside to enjoy it before it was gone. RJ even went swimming!

Valentine's Day 2018 . . .
I always like to surprise the kids with something special on Valentine's Day....they were thrilled with their new wrinkly puppies, and RJ has been carrying around his piggie everywhere he goes.
Roses from Dad . . .
My dad stopped by the house on Tuesday with some roses for me for Valentine's Day . . . almost 40 and still 'daddy's little girl'.
Tree Chair . . .
Kenny cut the kids a little chair out of a tree trunk from a tree he cut down over the summer. It's cute and the kids loved it. Hmmm....maybe I could get him to carve me a chainsaw bear or moose next . . . ha ha.

Icy Wonderland . . .
Today the kids are off of school. Everything is coated in ice, especially the trees. I wish I could capture it on my camera, but I just can't. It's so pretty when the sun shines. Everything just glistens. It's like an icy wonderland.
Cake Pops with Kiersen . . .
Kiersen has been asking to make cake pops for a couple of weeks now. So, we made plans to make them during the superbowl, since the boys were going to White Grandpa's to watch the game. I can sum up our baking time in two words - FUN & MESSY!

Vault (4th Place) . . .
Vault - Level One - Fourth Place (look for her foot getting caught in the white tape on the mat).
The Super Bowl Games . . .
Today was Kiersen's second gymnastics meet - the 'Super Bowl Games in Quakertown, PA'. She did very well and placed first on bar, beam and floor; fourth on vault and took first place for all-around. She was so excited (but I think her daddy was even more excited!) Videos to follow in the next post.
