Cheer Clinic (Cheer) . . .

Kiersen's cheer from the Cheer Clinic this weekend.

Kiersen's Half Time Routine . . .

Kiersen's Pee Wee Cheer Squad did their halftime routine yesterday at the game.  She did pretty good, but she did have a minor collision with one of the girls before her tumbling run - oops!

Pine Grove vs. Tri-Valley . . .

Whew - it was a HOT game today at the Tri-Valley field!  Certainly not ideal football weather.  Kiersen's team and Kaiden's team both lost their games.  Only three more home games to go and then the season will be over.  This season is really going by quickly!

Pine Grove vs. Schuylkill Haven . . .

On Sunday we played Schuylkill Haven.  Both teams lost, but we still had a great day.  We weren't sure Kaiden would be able to play because of his knee, but he played the first three quarters and had his best game yet.  He made a lot of great tackles and took down the ball carrier multiple times.  In the end (see last photo) he and his best buddy, Jacob, were sitting it out.  Kiersen did her first half time routine, but it's too big of a file to post here on the blog :(  This year they allowed her to tumble so she was able to show off some of the skills she's been working on.  This season is flying by so quickly!

Side Aerials with Pom Poms . ..

Last week Kiersen was practicing her side aerials with pom poms . . . just in case she wants to do any while she's cheering.

Pine Grove vs. Tri-Valley . . .

Oops - I just realized I never posted these pictures from our Tri-Valley game.  We didn't win this one, but it was a close one.  The boys really played well this year.  Even when they didn't win we always had good games (with the exception of the Lykens game).

Football Game #2 - Line Mountain

Yesterday was our second football game.  It was very hot.  Kaiden's team played very well, but ended up not winning their game.  The score was Line Mountain 19 and Pine Grove 13.  It was down to the last minute and games like that are always fun.  We're 1 and 1 this season so far, and we're hoping the number starts tipping the other way again soon.

First Football Game of the Season!

Today was the first football game of the 2018 season.  Kiersen had lots of fun cheering with her friends at the smurf game.  It's funny that last year she was the smallest one on her squad, but this year she's one of the bigger girls (okay - maybe that's not entirely true, but there are quite a few girls smaller than she is).  She, of course, likes to tumble the best and loves showing off for the fans.  Kaiden is on the pony team this year.  They had a fabulous start to their season with a 12-0 win over Halifax.  Kaiden did very well and is super happy/proud to be wearing the same football number that Kenny did when he played ball . . . go #61!
