The Halo Master & The Angel...

On Friday I was lucky enough to be able to volunteer at the kids' school for a Halloween Fun Day. The kids dressed up and had a parade around the track and then spent the rest of the day doing fun activities.  Kiersen was an angel this year, and I learned that fluffy pixie style tutu's are VERY hard to keep nice - it now looks like a matted jumbled mess, and we won't be doing the angel again next year! Kaiden was a 'Halo Master'.  Although he had no idea what a Halo Master was, he was very excited about his helmet which he could see out of, but no one could see into.

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go with Kaiden on his field trip to Lake Tobias this year.  I always love going to that place.  We had a beautiful day there and the kids had a blast.

V-Day 2015 . . .

 

Valentine's Day surprises!  Kaiden loved his stuffed animal (of course) and Kiersen loved her huge Hershey kiss!  The kids got a lot of goodies at their parties on Friday too.  On Saturday Kiersen was asking for candy as soon as she ate the last bite of her breakfast (so typical of Kiersen).  I told her 'no not now' about 20 times until finally, when she asked me and got the same answer, she replied 'the heart wants what it wants, mommy'!  For those of you that don't know....The heart wants what it wants is a song that I like listening to!  Where on earth does she come up with these things?!!!?!?  All I could do was laugh.
