Jim Thorpe Train Ride!

What is it about Jim Thorpe that I can't get enough of?!!?!?  There's just something special about that place.  It's quaint and cozy and every time we visit we leave saying we can't wait to go back again. Today we were joined by my sister-in-law, Kim, and her kids - Abby, Zack, Ethan & Noah.  We took the train ride and then finished the day off with some ice cream.  Good times!

The kids and I took the neatest trip on Thursday to the Jim Thorpe Lehigh Gorge Railroad Station. Everything about the day was perfect.  Jim Thorpe is such a quaint little town surrounded by mountains.  We rode the open-air style cars and met 4 dogs on the trip (Kiersen was in heaven). The scenery was beautiful and the ice cream was wonderful too!  I definitely want to go back in the fall when the leaves have changed.  This has been my favorite trip of the summer!
