Christmas 2010...

(Santa's note to Kaiden....his gift wouldn't fit down the chimney this year....)

(Kaiden's Camo Blind....great for hunting turkey!)

(Our little racer)

(Grandma & PawPaw get a cruise!)

(My desk organizer....made by my dad, of course!)

(Football time!)

(Daddy & Kaiden will have lots of fun with these!)

(Kaiden's pretty excited about getting 'talkie-talkies')

(Sawing open his presents...too cute)

(Walking in to discover his camo tent and presents at Grandma & PawPaw's)

(Working hard with his new tools)

(This was the look on his face when he saw his gift from Santa....his four wheeler)

(When Kaiden opened his helmet he shouted 'this is what I've always wanted!')

(Remmy gets some help from Kaiden...not that he needs any help!)

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. Lots of smiles and good time with the family. Kaiden got a lot of really nice gifts, so now momma will be spending the next couple of days cleaning house and making space for all those new things.

Chrismtas Eve 2010...

(Guess who wants the milk and cookies...)

(Busted....look at that milk mustache...who's been drinking Santa's milk?!!?!)

(Kaiden telling Remmy the cookies are for Santa!)

(Mom & Dad)

(Nikka & My Brother Rick)

(Steve & Gina)

(Baby Girl Even Got Something!)

Well, it's hard to believe, but it's Christmas Eve night (actually it's only a half hour away from Christmas). Tonight we had two stops - first to Kenny's grandmas, and then off to my brother and sister-in-laws for the annual Christmas Eve get together. Kaiden got lots of practice opening presents, so I'm sure he'll be a pro at it in the morning.

Right now he's fast asleep dreaming of four wheelers and 'talkie talkies', and I am still up thinking about how neat it will be to see his face tomorrow morning, and making sure every detail is just right. I feel like a little kid all over again.

The cookies and milk are set....hopefully Remmy won't eat them before Santa arrives! Speaking of Santa....before I close my eyes tonight, I will be looking up in the sky one more time to see if I can catch one small glimpse of Rudolph's red nose. And then, when I finally do close my eyes and say my prayers, I will thank God for the real reason we celebrate this special night....
Merry Christmas everyone!

Plans for Christmas Eve....

A friend of mine from work gave Kaiden the Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer movie. Turns out he loves that movie a lot. After watching it for the third time, he told me he can't wait to see Rudolph on Christmas eve. I made sure to tell him, that Rudolph is tricky, and he doesn't come when we are awake; only when we're sleeping.....to that Kaiden replied:

'I'm tricky too mommy....I will pretend I am sleeping, and just open one eye a little bit so that I can see him....just like this (you had to see the demonstration!).....but, we will have to remember to keep my blind open so I can know when he's here.'

He's got this all figured out, doesn't he!

Christmas Candylane...

Last night my parents to us to Christmas Candylane. Kaiden had a really good time! I was happy that he had no problems sitting on Santa's lap....in fact, before Santa asked him what he wanted, he started rambling to him. Guess he's not shy....he must take after me!
