Kaiden Goes Fishing!

Tonight we decided to take Kaiden fishing for the first time ever. I didn't think he'd do so well because he has such a short attention span right now, but he proved me very wrong. The little guy caught 7 fish! Two of those fish he caught without any help at all! It was a lot of fun seeing him get so excited as he was reeling them in. I think Kenny was almost as excited as he was. Strangely enough, however, he didn't want to have anything to do with the fish once they were caught, and screamed when we got them near him. At the end, he did touch one of them just enough to push it off the dock and back into the lake. I bet we'll have a bunch more fishing trips like this one this summer!

My HuckleBee Box!

Okay....so I'm really excited! Dad surprised me with a 'HuckleBee' box yesterday! It was really neat to see my logo on something....kinda made it feel 'real'! Am I really starting a business here?!!?!? The coolest thing is that he burned 'Good Luck Toots (yes, Dad calls me Toots), Love Dad' on the bottom of it! Isn't it cool?

He also made me a little cut out that inevitably will end up being hung on my Christmas tree each year!

Kaiden was sharing his licorice with Remmy today (tug-of-war style)...thought it was cute so I snapped a few pictures. Remmy got most of the licorice.

Belated Easter at Grandma & PawPaw's

Although last weekend was technically Easter, the Bouchette side of our family decided to celebrate this weekend. It made it a lot easier to fit everything in, and it extended the egg hunts for Kaiden, which was nice too. As you can see, he did very well finding the eggs this year!

What great weather we've been having....warm during the day and cool during the night. PERFECT for a camp fire with marshmallows and hot dogs! What a great evening we had. Kaiden is such a little 'mountain boy' and Remmy....well....he just likes food. He thought every marshmallow and every hot dog was for him! What is it about the smell of a camp fire that is just so relaxing....takes me back to the days when I used to camp with my mom, dad and brothers in New Hampshire. I can't wait to show Kaiden that place one day.
