Gymnastics 2023 - Level 7 . . .

This picture may seem out of place, but this little hamburger traveled with her to every meet this year.  Her good luck charm which she named 'Hammy GB'

Kiersen started at a new gym in June.  She now attends ASAP Gymnastics.  It's been a very rough year for her.   She had a great summer and learned a bunch of new skills, but in October she developed a mental block which has been very frustrating.  She lost a lot of the skills she's had since she was 5/6 years old and her self confidence suffered for most of the year.  There have been lots of tears (from both her and from me) this year, but there have also been a lot of smiles.  She's made a ton of new friends who have been amazing teammates, and she's even met a boy (here 'gym crush') who has been so supportive of her.  We're not sure what next year will bring - most likely a new sport - but we're excited to see what the future holds.

Meltdown Meet Bar Routine Video (March 12, 2022) . . .

Here is Kiersen's Bar routine from the Springtime Meltdown Invitational on March 12th.  I wish I could also post her floor routine, but her floor routines won't post here because they are too long.

Bar Routine (Hug & Kiss Meet 2022) (Video) . . .

I am very behind on posting things, but what is that they say . . . better late than never.  Here is Kiersen's bar routine from the Hug & Kiss Meet held in February.

Springtime Meltdown Meet . . .

Kiersen's team competed in their last meet on March 12th.  It just so happened that we got a lot of snow and wind that day, so the drive there was a little messy, but she did very well, and her team placed 2nd overall.

Pink Invitational . . .

In February we traveled to Philadelphia for the Pink Invitational.  Kiersen's team took second place.  The dressed up as doctors and nurses for the walk in which was fun.  The backs of their scrubs said 'a Hershey Kiss a day keeps covid away'.

Hug & Kiss Meet 2022 . . .

In February Kiersen's team competed in their home meet - the Hug & Kiss Meet.  She had her highest scores of the season and was very happy.  Her team also took first place.
