I found this adorable video Kiersen took of her 'cheer squad' on my phone.  I guess the cheer is called 'Cookies and Cream'.  Adorable!

I think someone is missing cheerleading!  This week she pulled out some dolls and was stunt building with them.  She even made this little sign and took photos and videos of her 'team'.  Cute!

This was the first week of football and cheerleading.  Kiersen and a few of her friends (Marissa & Bre) wanted me to video them doing some cheers.  

Last Game of the Season!

On Sunday the kids had their last game of the season.  It's hard to believe it's over already.  The girls wore their 'cheer for a cure' pink shirts in honor of breast cancer awareness.  Kaiden got to carry the ball a few times which was exciting.  I can't believe Kenny posed for a picture with Kiersen - he usually puts his hand in front of his face.  Until next year...

On Friday after gymnastics practice, we rushed home to get ready so Kiersen could cheer at the third quarter of the High School game.  She always enjoys cheering with Lexi, and was happy to see that Rachael was also there to cheer her on.

Jump Princess . . .

Today Kiersen had her cheerleading clinic at school.  She always enjoys it so much.  They did a jumping contest, and Kiersen was the 'Jump Princess', so that's why you see her with a crown and lollipops in these pictures.  On Friday she will be cheering with the High School Squad during the third quarter.  Can't wait to see her cheer with the 'big girls'!

So I'm a little late posting these photos, but things have been very busy in the Echternach household lately.  These photos were taken at the kids' first home game of the year.

Pine Grove vs. Halifax - Game #1...

Today was the first game of the season.  Kiersen has officially cheered at her first Smurf game, and Kaiden is in his final year of Pee Wee Football.  Although we didn't win either game, it was still so neat to watch them do their thing.

Last night Kiersen cheered with the Varsity Cheerleaders during the third quarter of the football game. She was so excited to have her cheering section there to cheer her on, but she acted more nervous than I thought she would while she was out there.  It's hard to believe that next year she'll be old enough to join Pine Grove's Smurf Team.  I (of course) cannot wait!
